3D Modeling - Environment Design

Spaceship Workshop

Wooju’s Workshop
Environment stills from Skybound, my senior thesis animated short film. This environment was modeled, textured, and lit to support cinematic storytelling and character-driven animation. Designed as the protagonist’s hidden workshop, the space reflects Wooju’s creativity, determination, and passion for space exploration through its props, layout, and visual details. The last two renders showcase the environment in use with characters, demonstrating how the space supports animation and narrative development.

Stylized Bakery

"Donut Bakery"
This cartoon-style donut bakery was created for my animation Sugar Rush. I used bold, simple shapes and pastel tones to create a cute and lovely mood. Warm lighting enhances the happy and cheerful atmosphere, blending seamlessly with the character design and animation style.

Korean School

Korean School
A stylized classroom environment inspired by the architecture, desks, and furniture found in Korean schools. Designed to introduce international audiences to the unique atmosphere of a Korean classroom, the scene features soft, dreamy lighting created to support the emotional tone of Nabi’s Dream.

Korean High School Gym
A stylized gym environment created for Yoona, a high school volleyball player. Inspired by the gym-auditorium spaces found in Korean schools, the scene uses warm sunset lighting to convey the quiet, focused mood of late afternoon practice.

Prison

"Rags to Riches" - Prison Environment
A modular prison environment designed to show the passage of time through decay and abandonment. The scene features layered, high-resolution textures and multiple lighting setups to represent different time periods, creating a moody and atmospheric space that emphasizes deterioration and isolation.
